I play this one. It's convenient & pretty damn faithful. Also, cross-play is nice. The new soundtrack is a great mixture of faithful & rocking.
Cryspy doom is great but I perfer Woof!, it's more user friendly.
I play the kex port mainly for the achievements.
gzdoom. skip the rest.
Nugget Doom: it's Woof, but better.
If I'm feeling Vanilla, Crispy all the way!

Chocolate is a bit too "rough" to me.

I still like DSDA as a Boom-compatible port.

I disagree.
Used to use prboom when I played/demo-watched.

GZdoom really shine on crazy modded wads, for vanilla gameplay it's not the best option.

GZDoom is objectively not the best for vanilla Doom.

It's good for the biggest mods but it's its own engine at that point. Just one that happens to support Doom.
I use this for multiplayer because you can usually get a match pretty quick, but single player is DSDA for me.
DSDA is my favorite source port of all time. You may be forced to use GZDoom once in a while but DSDA is my goto for everything else.
I'm a bit sad that PrBoom+ is dead but the legacy of Boom is still alive.
Well, forked from it are PRBoomX and DSDA.

I'm noting this.

I'll have to check and update my sourceports.
DSDA seems to be one of the most popular options at the moment.
Yeah, it's basically prboom+ with a bunch of awesome features for speedrunners/demo recorders
