How can I play No Rest For the Living in GZdoom?
NRFTL has so far been my most favorite doom episode, and I want to play it through GZdoom. I cant find any downloads on the internet, so I was wondering if I can use (in some way because I have very little knowledge in this area) the wad from this game.

NRFTL is a commercial product so legitimate sites don't tend to post it.

You can use the copy from this version in gzdoom. It's the one called nerve.wad in the rerelease folder..

Nerve.wad is archived online, along with most other doom wads, though it should be somewhere in the current doom folder, or you could extract it from Doom 3 BFG edition folder.

Those are indeed some of the more elegant Doom maps. Hell Mountain in particular is a blast to play with ProjectBrutality.

Archived yes. Legal to get that way, no.

You can just drag nerve.wad from your steamapps\common\Ultimate Doom\rerelease folder over gzdoom.exe
I would copy the Doom2 and Nerve wads from your rerelease folder and drop them in the same folder as GZDOOM. You can have the Nerve wad select open with GZDOOM by right clicking the icon. Or drag and drop Nerve wad onto GZDOOM icon. If you boot up GZDOOM say Doom 2 and that should do No Rest for the Living. Putting down $9.99 is your pass to get the 8 WAD files that you can go play with any source ports of your choice.

Your legitimate options for obtaining No Rest for the Living are:

1. The KEX Engine remaster as Silverhawk90 pointed out, the WAD is in the "rerelease" folder.

2. Through getting the 2012 Doom 3: BFG Edition (NOT the 2019 standalone version or the original 2004 version). If you previously had the original Doom 3 prior to the BFG Edition merger from 2022, you get the BFG Edition for free (and vice-versa). Once you have purchased and installed it, the WAD is found under the folder "base\wads".

3. The Unity Port, but requires downloading it from their curated add-ons menu which itself needs a Bethesda account to access. Once it's installed, the WAD is found in your Saved Games folder in "<username>\Saved Games\id Software\DOOM Classic (or DOOM 2)\WADs\3". The file you're looking for is the file named "3" without a extension; rename this file to "nerve.wad" and it can be used with a source port.
