How to play like ashes 2063?

So in the free game ashes 2063, it includes doom 2. And it plays really nice. Everything is set up really nice. All the movement, controls, interface is just really nice. But its only the base game.
In this steam version, it has the extra levels. But the interface sucks bad, its too modern in this modern remake. So how could you play the extra levels, but have the nice interface, and controls like in the ashes version?

Ashes is a GZDoom mod that's incompatible with the steam release for a litany of reasons. It's not possible to use anything from Ashes with this.

well, there are "partial" releases on Ashes moddb page, including a map package that will run alongside Doom - you'll fight standard Doom bestiary with standard Doom weaponry
