Providing Dosbox or Dosbox staging isn't all that important. The most important part is providing the original five unmodified WADs. We can work with that with various source ports like Chocolate Doom, Crispy Doom, and others. I think the original game very much deserves to be preserved.

Both is the best. Now they have the Dosbox staging and Kex engine versions. So it's all good.
