Did they just remove Dosbox?
There was an update and now the file folder looks different and trying to launch the Dos version won't work.

i'm pretty sure the reomoval of iwads wasn't intentional.

I grew up with Doom but honestly there are players who still play with the DOS versions ?

It's not so much players want to still play the DOS versions (although I still want to play them), it's the original IWADs that are included that are needed for source ports and mods.

Providing Dosbox or Dosbox staging isn't all that important. The most important part is providing the original five unmodified WADs. We can work with that with various source ports like Chocolate Doom, Crispy Doom, and others. I think the original game very much deserves to be preserved.

Both is the best. Now they have the Dosbox staging and Kex engine versions. So it's all good.
