What is the difference

Hi, what is the difference between the original doom, doom final, doom ultimate, and doom 64? are any of them remakes / remastered versions? cheers

Doom is the original release. The Ultimate Doom is the same game with an additional episode. Final Doom features 2 episodes (megawads), while Master Levels features 21 maps, both are made by fans and published by idSoftware. Doom 64 would be the last game of classic Doom.

He is likely talking about the original alpha of Doom 1 which was much closer to the horror style in Doom 3. Its covered in the Doom Bible.
