Yes, The retail versions of DOOM/DOOM2 contain both the Unity Port & DOSBox versions.
DOOM2 contains the Master Levels -- and gives additional access to the Final DOOM campaigns & 'No Rest for the Living' expansion.

It gives you an options menu when you run the game.

Presuming you're new to Doom! Welcome! It isn't necessary but I recommend you get a sourceport for Doom. The ones I recommend are GZDoom (https://zdoom.org/downloads) or CrispyDoom. Here's are two videos talking sourceports:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=34HfmGvUJIM
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HzauoLqk_9U

Setting it up is pretty easy honestly.
|| You download GZDoom (or whatever you're using as a sourceport ||
|| extract GZDoom if you need to ||
|| copy the doom.wad and doom2.wad files from your Doom Steam game directory and paste those files in your GZDoom folder ||

Like mentioned it isn't necessary BUT the nice thing about these sourceports is the amount of mods you can put on them. Me personally I tend to prefer a more "classic" experience so I recommend, if you get GZDoom, turning off vertical aim, keeping on aim assist, and DEFINITELY get rid of jump and crouch (just delete the kb keys for them).

However you decide to play, whether in Unity or another sourceport, I recommend playing in this order: Doom, Doom 2, Plutonia Experiment.

After this, if you're still craving more Doom, you can download additional MegaWADs (map packs) that are just as, if not better, than the original. These are completely free mind you. Check out- Plutonia 2 (https://www.doomworld.com/idgames/levels/doom2/megawads/pl2), Sunlust, SIGIL, and Ancient Aliens. There are many more but those are some to start you off (and you can play all of the ones mentioned without vertical aim, jumping or crouching, it's vanilla style). Doomworld.com/idgames is always safe, although the website layout is archaic, so I'd go there to search for map packs.

I like TNT a bit better than Plutonia.

Also, nerve.wad has some of the most elegant levels to play Project Brutality on.

Though you might have to extract the wad from the Doom 3 BFG edition installation or download it from archive.org. I have been avoiding the unity doom installation and it's addons ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ like the plague. No, I am not registering another account with you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

If you want a good source port that is vanilla-friendly for new players and has a lot of the benefits of the official Unity ports (e.g. widescreen, controller support, ease of use), I'd recommend Woof!, which is based off another Boom-derived source port. Another I can recommend that is somewhat less vanilla-friendly is DOOM Retro, which some unique features that stand out from GZDoom like native rumble support for controllers and new graphical features that retains the classic look by default.

I actually have the original disc of this that I bought from Game Traders when they were still around. I used to have the poster too but I remember I accidentally ripped it up in a fit of rage.
I love Doomsday Engine for my part, there's few attractive graphic effects that is not available on GzDoom, anyway i noticed that running mods, Doomsday Engine is less efficient that GzDoom (stuttering on Doomsday Engine while playing mods), which is why I juggle between the two.
Doom Retro also is nice as Crispy Doom.
