Ultimate Brutal Doom

I'm planning on buying this game and the other doom games, but I want to play it using Brutal Doom. My question is, what are the most badass, and essential addons to Brutal Doom? I'm wanting the ultimate Doom experience.

Mods or map packs? Brutal Doom is fine alone but if you want to make the whole game "HD" you have to go to Moddb. You'll find the Metal version of the music, the UDV visor mod, HD texture, and other stuff if you want to try it out.

Brutal doom is a nice enhancement for doom that doesnt make it stray too far from vanilla feel. However if you think brutal doom won't be... "brutal".. enough for you, you can go with project brutality, which builds off of brutal doom. It adds new weapons, enemies, and a dynamic progression spawn system.
