Cannot hear voice chat?

So, this isn't just an issue with Doom + Doom 2, but rather all of the Bethesda ID games? IE: it's in the Steam version of Quake as well. In fact I'll probably post this in that forum as well.

The issue is that I can see that people are talking. Like- the little audio icon shows up next to the name in the top left, but I can't hear any audio from them. And it's not worked ever ?? I'm not sure what to do. I can hear all of the other audio in the game but not VC.

This port is in need of patching. Sometimes it forgets what Midi config I set it to in options and defaults to something else. But that's nothing Kex devs can't handle.. Just hope they handle it soon.
