Doom on Mac

So I found this chart that shows the release of games that ID released... and almost all of the games were released on Mac... so my question is why are none of the Doom games on Steam able to have Mac play :(? If someone knows why they are only on mac please leave a comment bellow! Thank You! :D

I have an idea. In the 90's all the Doom games were ported to the Macintosh.But no port for OSX or any other Modern Mac OS's have Doom ports. At this very second im playing the Game on Windows 7 using Bootcamp to switch to the PC side. I suggest you do that.

Thank You, Dario the OSX man ... that makes alot of sense to be honest, and I guess boot camp will have to do unless I want to buy a physical copy and try to make it work on osx.

I dont think a floppy disk will fit into an IMac port.

Lol not what I meant... apparently there was a Compact Disk version released in 95 for the mac... I'm unsure though

Duke Nukem 3D has a Steam Mac port....the advanced Megaton Edition...so why would you do that?

in duke nukem you can choose standart version with dosbox
