Motion sickness
Very common problem with ports of games with this engine. Seems to not be fixed at all here. Before I refund is there a way to defeat this?

This is heartbreaking. Doom 2 is still one of my favorite games ever and I was really looking forward to playing Sigil. Maybe whoever buys Bethesda next will get it together.
You get motion sickness from playing FPS games, the only one who needs to get it together is you.

I'm sorry but that's a you problem.

Some people can do the same roller coaster ride 10 times in a row an still have a great time!
while others only do a half and feel sick.

There is nothing you can do about it.

Alright. I'll find something better to spend $10 on then.

Here's some tips I heard that could help:
* Turn "View bobbing" to 0% in Display Options
* Make the Crosshair bigger in Gameplay
* Always look at the center of the screen. Don't try looking at the sides. Train yourself to turn with your mouse instead when you want to look to one side or the other
* Try a different FOV

You already own them, so the upgrade is free for you. Not sure what you're on about.

Disabling Vsync, lowering mouse sensitivity and setting the framerate to 35fps helped alleviate motion sickness for me. I've heard that changing the renderer from Vulkan to d3d11 helps but I didn't notice a difference.

I'm refunding it. Thanks for the input.

Same for me, like, I've played Doom in so many variations and ports over 15 years and this one makes me ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ *sick* while I never had an issue with the game before. Its weird.

Seriously, like I go back to GZDoom and its all good. Is this really a common problem with this engine?

It's definitely the view bobbing for me, I always turn that off if I can in these games.

I assume this is the reason the remaster of Dark Forces costs $30

Chocolate Doom > GZDoom in my opinion.

You can still play the dos variant under launch options.
