Don't do that ♥♥♥♥! You're not doing anyone any favours.
sigh
For sooooo many of them, they can't even do that, because the wad will need some GZD functionality :D
Mod authors are just mad in general, as a rule.
The authors cannot monetize their mods legally anyway, so they won't ever be making money out of them. On the other hand, as a mod author, it would be great to have your work included in an official release.
At the same time, yes, it's a ♥♥♥♥ move by Bethesda not to even credit or highlight the mod authors whose work was used in official content, but at the same time, this is not the case here - those mods are not part of the official release, they're user uploads in a repository linked to the game, but not part of the core content, so I don't see the drama here.
If anything, I'd be happy if more people played and hopefully enjoyed my mediocre map I made back in 2004 :D
either way, i still think mod creators blew things out of proportion (like always).
it's not id's responsibility to credit wads, the uploader's.
All the core content (the Featured mods by the way), all had their time in the sun when they were first brought over to the previous port (with an interview and Twitter spotlight), so its not like Bethesda refuses to credit creators nowadays.
