The Only Thing They Fear Is You achievement problem

Chose 1e 1m, Ultra-Violence difficulty, have 100% complete this, have no any damage, and have no achievement
Am I do something wrong?

Having the same problem as well, in e1m1 as well as Entryway

Same issue. The chainsaw one wasn't counting in several instances also. Maybe it doesn't award progress in the first game but does in the second???

For anyone struggling to get "The Only Thing They Fear Is You" I got to E2M7 and saved before the exit, then ended the level and just circle strafe the Cyberdemon and kill the Lost Souls. Its a small map and only like 13 enemies.

I did that achievement three times before it popped, definitely has some issues.

I got it on e1m1. I saved at the end of the level (I had even taken damage, but health was over 100). Once on m2 I reloaded the e1m1 save and finished again and the achievement popped.

This was broken for Doom 3 BFG edition too, completed a level without getting hit and it never popped...
(never touched that broken release again)

From my experience seems like it requires 100% secrets and 100% items too.
Got the achievement on Ultimate Doom, E3M1.

For that and the chainsaw achievement it only works on Doom 2 right now. Try it on Entryway, it'll pop for you.

I did it on Doom II map01, based on what I'm hearing about achievements they seem to work better on Doom II

Tell us in detail how you did, did you went in a single run with no saves, or did you just saved before reaching the exit door? We need more details about how it was done please, that would be appreciated

I am confused about the "Exit" you are mentioning. Do you mean the exit before entering E2M7? Can you go more in detail about it?

Thanks, it worked for me as well. I saved before pressing the Exit button with f5, then on the 2nd map F9, after it I pressed the Exit then the achievment just popped up. My health was above 100.

Just unintentionally cheesed this achievement, on the level just after Dead Simple in Doom 2. Got damaged plenty of times throughout the level but I quick loaded just before entering the exit with 100% kills and the game awarded it. I guess it interpreted the period from quick load to exit as the entire level.
