I use Zandro mostly but it's nice to have more options. This one is good for multiplatform. I guess if its netcode is improved a bit and an option to play multiplayer on custom wads is added, that would be sweet.

Nah, zandronum is pc-only thing. So i choose official way cause it has crossplatform multiplayer

Nah, I prefer the simplicity of this official port. No need to mess around with source ports in order to play some online deathmatch or co-op.

Is Zandronum the best out of the three? I only tried that before.

But Zandronum/Doomseeker sucks, nobody plays doom on it or any of the other ports anymore. Just stupid megaman mod, and the other ports are ghosts, bots or foreigners with high ping.

That's not really the fault of the port or the browser, that's just where the playerbase is right now. The more people on there playing classic DM, the better.

bro zandronum and doom + doom 2 are meant for two different things, zandronum is meant for advanced doom mods or gzdoom like game play while doom + doom 2 is meant to be vanilla multiplayer but more accessible to newcomers and console players, they are not comparable.

Seconded - CTF is the best game mode, and currently there's only Co-op and Deathmatch in this version.

The movement speed is off, there's no way to SR50, there's no Preferred Weapon Order, like a lot of things that have been around for literal decades are missing. The sourceports are the way to go - grab ZDaemon and Zandronum and fire up Doomseeker so you can see all the servers.

A lot of people would say yes but it depends on what you are looking for. Zdaemon and Odamex tend to have a bit more of a vanilla experience; I'd just download all 3 and use doom explorer to see ALL of the servers so you can see whats up.
