DOOM + DOOM II

issues with Bluetooth Audio.
Hey guys apparently it seems like if you have bluetooth headphones this version of the game just forces you to use the bluetooth mic that comes on your headset. There seems to be no option to change either input/output audio. I already tried messing around with several windows settings which included settings that were supposed to disable the bluetooth microphones but none of them worked. (thats not bethesdas fault, that seems to just be a general windows issue)

Anyone have any suggestions? I really want to play this version and it would suck to miss out on it because of a simple audio error.

Press WIN + R on your keyboard, type 'devmgmt.msc' and hit OK. This will open Device Manager.
Inside, open category 'Sound, video and game controllers', find '{your headphones name} Hands-free', right-click on it and select 'Disable device' option.
Restart your PC if necessary.
This helped me to solve this exact issue with Doom Eternal.

I had the same problem. I started the game then Alt-tab into volume mixer. Changed the source into another (hdmi to TV, using the same speaker.) and changed it back directly to the bluetooth-speaker. And it is working now. Strange. EDIT: but i think i need to do this again when i restart the PC. they should do a fix.

This solution worked. Disable Hands-free in Device Manager. Thanx!

Didn't work for me sadly.
I can plug speakers to play but that's not the solution.
Disabling 'Hands-Free' Audio device worked for me too :)

This worked for me too, which is good since my speakers are kaput and I needed bluetooth support!
