Only issue I ran in to was having to delete my compatdata folder after running the Unity version and then switching to the new one, otherwise the game would crash immediately.

having played the previous port on SD for like 20-30 hours for btsx on the go. This one feels much better to play out of the box with more streamlined controls and having access to big DeHacked megawads with some browsing.

I used the top proton selection (forgot the version), but it does work. There is a input delay, may need to tinker around to reduce it as much as possible.

Works flawless on my linux desktop with proton 9.0

Works absolutely fine. Consumes 6.5W, with gamescope estimating 6 hours of battery life. Simultanious gamepad + mouse input also works.

If it doesn't, prBoom+ exists for purists and GZDOOM for modders

That shouldn’t be an issue for me. I don’t usually wear headphones or speak in online chats even if I do wear headPhones.
