Give me back Keyboard-only binding.
I use arrow key for turn, L-Ctrl for shoot. I don`t wanna use a mouse when I am playing classic doom. Give it back plz.

At least let us bind turning left and right to keys with a custom config!

I am a maniac and a heresy, so I have a switch version too. I would play it with controller rather than a mouse.

The Switch can't run 90s shooters 60fps.

... It can & It could. 30fps was for Doom(2016) and Doom Eternal.

Doom 1 on PC looks better than 2016 on Switch. Also if you play Goldeneye on Xbox, it's smoother than the Switch rerelease. This is due to the limitations of the Switch hardware. The only way around it is to mod your Switch then OC it.

NOOO You can't have freeaim because..welll...DOOM was made without freeaim in mind.. What? Widescreen and high fps? Well..those are okay because...just because!

I didn`t say about free aim. I say about option. K+M was available on former remaster, but it also allows you to bind keyboards only.

And free aim is irrelevant here.

You said about framerates... and it was all same after patch. Switch is indeed very inferior hard, but It can run 90s on 60fps. It runs Metroid Prime remaster on 60fps. stop being ridiculous.

Some of you don`t get the point guys. If it was my words being poor, I apologize.
"Original" Doom`s default setting was not use a,d to strife(walk left & right). But you can bind it anyway so it was totally possible to play with my control scheme. K+M was also one of options, though if you move mouse forward, then doom guy walks forward.

And previous remaster has Keyboard + mouse control scheme, but it also allows you to bind key what so ever so I could use that scheme.

And now, all of sudden, This option is unavailable now. Even Doom64 allowed it though. I just want to play this game in my old way. I don`t blame ones who use K+M or demand free aim or even jump what so ever. Keyboard only was always an option, and why not.

p.s. To someone who "just download source port" guys.
I bought this game, even before previous remaster version was released. I am all for remaster or updates, I just want to keep my option of my game on steam. Is that a unfair negging??

Glad to see I'm not the only one that went directly to use the keyboard and didn't see any preset for the OG inputs
