I see yet another person that literally didnt read what OP said at all. Shame on you. 👎
Counterpoint: Archviles are token
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6cIePqdz03A
other Archviles or boss monsters (good lord how unfair would that be).
Archviles are there to shake up the combat and make you think on your feet
as opposed to just mindlessly holding down the shoot button at whatever's
in front of you. They still can get hurt by other demon projectiles, and they
aren't nearly as tanky as Barons of Hell are.
They're tough but fair imo.
The issue isn't that they're difficult, the issue is that they're resurrecting monsters inside the player or themselves, getting them stuck.
How did so many people just jump into this thread and ignore the OP? lol
But the first sentence of the OP already tells us exactly what the problem is: they're resurrecting enemies without caring if there's anything in the way, and this is literally the bug. What's happening is that some players didn't notice the bug in the game so they didn't realize that the first sentence is a literal description of a bug and not just a figure of speech or something, LOL.
The first post is literally the point that everyone is skipping over. They're NOT EVEN reading the first post. It wasn't worded poorly. It's quite clear that OP is complaining about buggy behaviour that was not normally present in Doom.
