Hey, thanks for making those mods for Sewers, Betray and the PS/Jaguar levels, finally got to experience those old levels, odd Club Doom wasn’t connected by a secret like it likely was intended to, but regardless, thanks for letting me experience that content for the first time. I just wish Elf-Alchemist and Pixel Scuba would fix their upload’s borked saves for consoles.

Today while playing Sigil 2 I found a frustrating bug at the end of level E6M9 where the platform goes down after shooting a barrel.
The game's graphics glitch as if you went outside the map with the idclip cheat.
I hope John Romero or one of the official developers sees this and fixes it somehow.

thanx, I don't understand why bethesda wouldn't do it themselves and didnt include it as official levels.

Bethesda are weird, that or my most likely guess, the levels were made by people outside the company (Williams/Midway for Jaguar/PS Doom and Vicarious Visions for the Xbox levels) so since they weren’t fully sanctioned (and in the case of the former, were replacement levels for PC levels), they rather just stick closer to the classic vanilla design that had been around for many years (also for demo compatibility).

If I was to hazard a guess as to why it is like it is - after all, it's mighty weird to have Sigil 1 but not 2 - I'd say they wanted to but couldn't get all the necessary licensing paperwork in order in time for the release (Sigil 2 uses third party artwork after all. As does Sigil 1, but the pieces are by different artists). And if so, they may yet canonize it in a future update.

Alright, I just tried your updated version of the Sewers and Betray mod (on PS4), 2 issues, the minor issue is Betray doesn’t have an intro card, the major issue though, E1M1 seems to have some rogue tag 0 action in play as the backgrounds of 2 rooms are trippy and wacky.

While Sigil II isn't included as part of the core games, Romero DID upload it to the mod database so it can be downloaded as free DLC

It is also a featured Mod so it can be downloaded everywhere (even on Switch).
