I just wish they hadn't taken out the HMG with FMJ penetration rounds. Smashing riot shield troopers with it was so satisfying.
And tossing a swarm pod through a teleporter and setting up the autoturrets was pretty OP, but a lot of fun. Also, being able to do the slide kick instantly from a standstill was awesome.
Gore is excessive in this mod, that's the idea of glorification of violence once was only on small pixels on sprites to massive quantities. Blood and gore in this mod not nearly realistic. There games that barely have blood, but the violence in them making people sick to point of throwing up a little, some of those got international bans. As Electric Cupcake said, Brutal Doom isn't even considered being that much of an actual brutal rather than cartoony and goofy, childish. First thought other than Brutal Doom what comes in mind with such a description is Happy Tree Friends.
At the release of the original Doom the pixel gore provided there was shocking to people, back then they are already were concerned with such a small detail. If you think you're really starting to have real problems in your life after playing this game, for your sake - delete the game, calm down and focus on something else, somthing more "good".
