The game looks fine, if they try to make it fancy, theyre just going to ruin it
If we're talking like Quake then I'd guess just a gzDoom style "upgrade" and not a total remake or whatever.
Doom 1 and 2 already got the remaster and it's already in you library bro
No It's not confirmed, and compared to Quake 1's initial issues on modern PC's, which greatly benefited from an update, The Ultimate DOOM's current state of availability (Unity build & else wise) doesn't require nore need a remaster.
Compared to Nightdive's Quake 1 KEX engine port & texture/game play 'Remaster' (which Nightdive actually quietly inquired with their Discord community about, months before, as a possible title they could 'bring back'), It is Highly Unlikely that there is any such remaster planned.
Quake 2 needs to happen cause the port is absolutely awful. Even with mods.
But here is liquidus defending barebone garbage for who knows what reason I don't get the agenda here. And liquidus you are welcome to your opinion (that's all it is), I mean no disrespect or insult. But I just don't agree with what you're saying and many others don't. And this do it yourself construction set mentality is all over steam.
