How do I download GZDOOM for Brutal DOOM v21?

oh god google is there but here lad, simple if ye wana play brutal doom but also need some other ♥♥♥♥♥ like hud mods etc jada jada ja

Installation: ultimatedoom/doom 2 directory, remove ♥♥♥♥♥ dosbox and replace it with gzdooms exe and rename it to dosbox, its case sensitive if theres BIG or sm00ll letters do it.

then im sure you will be modding ur doom bit further

someone would throw you some hey get notepad or some ♥♥♥♥ write this line of code or some ♥♥♥♥, nah lets do it the easy way

you have 2 pages the main and settings

click the setting button on top left corner and pardon my shotty english

you will see 2 large empty white boxes left side sourceports/engines right IWADS
lets start with sourceport box, bottom of the program window there should be add. click it

window will pop up, hit browse find ur gzdoom, its only file that you should be able to see , then once its selected, the box will have small text field(name) for everyones sake name the gzdoom with its version.

Now lets go to IWADS on the right. same thing like with the source port, this time you will be looking for the CORE parts, doom2wad Ultimatedoom Wad plutonia tnt wads, Usually they are named like DOOM.WAD or DOOM2.WAD

add those.done. now lets go to the real meat Brutal doom, hit the Main button

you should now already have brutal doom downloaded, now with the zdl the mods dont need to be in the same big pile of dump but go to if you have doom 2 (runs 99.99% of the mods) or ultimate doom folder, make folder called mods Dump brutal doom there, some mods dont need unpacking some do, and i just tested brutal doom needs to be unpacked first ,unpack it inside its own folder for easy cherry picking when ur later mixing and matching dozens of mods togethere

aight ur unpacked the file now in zdl main window you have 2 massive boxes on the right source ports aNd Iwads, left big box , like you did with the iwads you now find the mods folder and there should be file bd21RC4.pk3
take it, you will need it later : D

now in ur external files , you should see the mod and now click one of the iwads on the right then find bigas launch button, under the IWAD box. you are now set,

oh remember you can mix and match some mods together, and load order is from bottom to top, bottom ones are loaded firsts- its not rocket science

i also recomend some map packs, same thing with them like with the gameplay mods, but rarely they need be unpacked, some need ultimatedoom some need doom 2 , if nothing changes in doom 2 hit ultimatedoom then launch and PRESTO ...or you need to unpack the file then try again.
