Can't start Sigil v 1.21 with G Z Doom
So i downloaded Sigil. I placed it in folder of Ultimate doom. I have G Z Doom already. I send Sigil and it's not on IWAD list at all.
Sigil 1.2 starts fine

gzdoom -iwad doom.wad -file sigil.wad

If doom.wad is in the same folder as gzdoom, you can drag and drop sigil.wad onto gzdoom executable.

gzdoom -iwad doom.wad -file sigil.wad

If doom.wad is in the same folder as gzdoom, you can drag and drop sigil.wad onto gzdoom executable.
I did exactly that and it does not appear on the list of wads. I got only Ultimate and Unity Doom

Not sure what list you are talking about. If you drag and drop sigil.wad onto gzdoom executable, and doom.wad is in the same folder as gzdoom, then it will launch sigil straight away.

I guess you have multiple iwads in the same folder as gzdoom, and that's why it's asking you to choose an iwad. Delete doom2.wad from gzdoom folder, and try again.

On a side note just get zdl to be able to handle multiple iwads and pwads easier.

when I drag and drop Sigi on GZDoom which is called Dosbox it asks me to use one of 2 wads: Ultimate doom or Doom Unity edition. I start any of them and just get doom 1. I don't have doom 2 in folder

Where did you get Sigil from? Maybe you've been drag and dropping the archive containing sigil.wad instead of sigil.wad ?

Ok, but did you extract the wad file from the archive before trying to launch it?

I already said. I extracted both wads to the Ultimate Doom folder

In that case put doom.wad and SIGIL_v1_21.wad in gzdoom folder, create a text file and add "dosbox -iwad doom.wad -file SIGIL_v1_21.wad" without quotes. Save it as a .bat file. Double click on the .bat file you've just created.

An idiot-proof way is to drag Sigil on gzdoom.exe and choose Ultimate Doom as the iwad

ok, when you say "it just starts ultimate doom", are you referring to the "list" of iwads or are you at the title screen? because if you are in fact dragging and dropping sigil.wad onto you gzdoom executable, it will launch doom with sigil. if this is the case and for whatever reason it really just isn't launching properly, use a launcher. i personally use zdl but there's plenty to choose from.
