Console on Vanilla "The Ultimate Doom"

Just to clarify, I am talking about the following: When you open Doom through Steam it gives you three options, DOS Doom with Modern and Old controls and "The Ultimate Doom"
I am talking about the OFFICIAL "The Ultimate Doom" on steam.
You see, I want to know how to open the console on this version, why? Well, I wanna try the chasecam command, but all it allows me to do is access the cheats through the options without typing the commands in.
How do I open console?

As far as I know, the unity port has no console at all. It is, pretty much, the original code running in a unity shell. With no bells and whistles added beyond the obvious.

doom never officially had a console (except for in the Doom 3 BFG edition) and chasecam is a command that only exists in some community source ports

Console was a thing first on Quake. Source port devs added it to their ports.

Alright, thanks people! I noticed that the vanilla quake had a console aswell. And because of the fact that the Doom ports had consoles I supposed the vanilla ones had too. Thanks for the help everybody!
