Windows 98?
So I have this Windows 98 computer (Pentium 3), and I wanted to run some old games on this.
I was wondering if I could buy the game, stick it on a CD and put in in the computer.
Would this work?

Actually, yeah, it works. But, if you want to remap the controls you might want to also grab the SETUP.EXE file from the shareware Doom release. Works with both Doom 1 and Doom 2.

Grab the first file name "Doom19s.zip".

Just copy the SETUP.EXE file from it and add it to Doom/Doom2 folder. For some reasons, whoever put this on steam felt it was a great idea to remove that file.

Oh yeah thats because that's an installer for the shareware release. I forgot about that. Give me a moment.
