do you have all you need to get in on modding btw ?? source ports etc? doom modding is not like shove file there and it works with out preparation

ye i got gzdoom and zandronum but i rarely play on zandronum because the screen acts like its in DOS

there are a bunch of old games that were converted into doom total conversions.

Hocus Pocus Doom
Sonic Robo Blast 2
Castlevania Simons Destiny
Spram's Metroid Doom and Metroid Dreadnought
Mega Man 8 Bit Deathmatch
Jazz Jackrabbit Doom
Fate doom (based on a 3D Realms first person shooter demo from 1997, full game never released)

Whispers of Satan, Icarus, Memento Mori I and II, Vanguard, Valiant, Sunlust, Ancient Aliens, Plutonia 2, Stardate 20x7, Eternal Doom I-IV, Eviternity, Preacher, Requiem, Scythe I and II, Strain, Suspended in Dusk, Void and Rainbow, Water Spirit... I could go on all day, but those were some of the ones that really stuck in my head.

Also second Wampa_Stompa with his recommended TCs, with Hocus Pocus, Jazz Jackrabbit, and Golden Souls I and II being the best of the lot IMO.

currently trying golden souls 1 and i suck at it lol. it's really cool and 2 looks even more polished and whole, and the third one is on the way eventually. did you see the new Treasure Tech mod? it's a new one that brings WarioLand style gameplay to doom, it goes well with the Super Mayhem 17 wad, since that one is super mario bros themed
