What order, and what mods? :)
So this is the first time I play the old DOOM-games and I got some questions. What order to play the games? And what mods should I use? I heard something about a "Brutal DOOM" mod a few years back. Is this mod for all the games or just a particular one?

Thanks!

That's one of those questions ... "Hey! There's a franchise consisting of 4 games ... which order should I play them?" - "Well ... 3, 1, 2 and 4! Duh!"

What about starting the franchise with part 1, then 2, then maybe 3 and 4?

And play vanilla first before you spoil yourself with BD.

You do understand some of the games are not named 1,2,3,4? Or did you miss that? And some games should not be played in order. THAT'S WHY I'M ASKING!

And it's not 4 games, there is 5.

You should play them in this order:
Ultimate Doom
Doom 2 Hell on Earth
Final Doom
Master levels for Doom 2

Ultimate Doom is the retail release of the first game that adds a fourth episode, Doom 2 Hell on Earth is just Doom 2, Final Doom is a standalone expansion pack for Doom 2, and Master levels for Doom 2 is a compilation of user-made maps.

Another lie. That's cute.
We're talking about the Doom games found on Steam.

Final Doom does not count, because it's a Expansion Pack. Doom 64 doesn't count because it's not on Steam. So there's that. So you're still lying.

But what did I expect from somebody who needs to ask for the order of a video game which has it's realease date next to it just for decorations.
