(SORTA FIXED) GZDOOM not working, unplayable

FIX: I ended up just intsalling a Windows 32 vintage verison of gzdoom instead and it's working great

I know this is a lot of text, but bare with me:

So, i downloaded gzdoom over 2 months ago and it was working just fine until i tried to download the brutal doom mod, when i ran it, the fps decreased awfully- less than 1fps. I decided to unistall brutal doom and just play the original campaigns on gzdoom. Soon later, i couldn't play any other IWADS due to the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ frame rate. I've tried reinstalling it and it stills runs awfully. what the hell did I do to it? any help is appreciated.

it didn't work, when the game launches, there's a black screen for a couple of seconds and then the menu screen has a 5-10 second delay for each frame

Try running gzdoom in a window instead of fullscreen, if it works you can use borderless gaming to make it borderless windowed

unfortunately, It still lags just as bad as fullscreen when windowed

every time i start the game up it gets on the title screen and then crashes
