PS: After finishing PB with Doom episode 1 I saw that they mentionned SgtmkIV
that's why I said he's giving credit now
there's a credits section for the resources used for brutal doom in the v21 betas
High Noon Drifter, GMOTA, Final Doomer, Quake Champions Doom Edition, Complex Doom, Mega Man DM...
IMO it's way better than BD (especially the boss fights)
Talking about Project Brutality. I enjoy it, but mostly with original maps. On custom maps, some of the spawns may get out of control, breaking the game entirely. My worst example was the last level of Scythe, where I had a few hundred Revenants and (probably) 10 Cyberdemons, all in the same hall. Took me more than an hour to beat it by smashing save/load.
I need to do Scythe one day.
My opinion on PB... It's a decent mod. I perfer other less game-changing gore mods, but it achieves what it sets out to do, and you can't ask for more than that. Some of the monster replacements get completely absurd later on, most notably with some of the late-game Cacodemon and Baron of Hell replacements, as mentioned.
Brutal is probably more balanced.

I think so? I haven't done PB in years. Either way, once later maps start throwing like 5+ at a time at you it gets to complete absurdity.

But yeah I don't mind randomizers but I prefer to get the normal mooks... is there an option in PB for that?
Last I checked it was a setting. Check the options.
