Sigil question
So I want to play the Buckethead soundtrack and I'm looking over the readme.txt file and it says to drop SIGIL_SHREDS.wad into the GZDoom.exe but the SIGIL_SHREDS.wad doesn't exist in my download. Anyone care to help?

No problem. I got the paid version because I didn't want to wait for the free release. However the free version released today is the patched version. v1.0 had some problems with the way things triggered, and a few missing textures/terrain.

Do I really need to manually drag and drop Sigil into gzdoom everytime I want to run it?

No you can use a mod loader like ZDL that will allow you to save presets, and even list all Doom engine IWADs for easier access. You can get the latest version from here: https://github.com/lcferrum/qzdl/releases/tag/3-1.1

Welcome, and just make sure that if you want to replay it again using a gameplay mod like Trailblazer you have to load the Sigil.wad, or any other map pack/level wad, first. Then have the mod loaded after that.

Go to your library and right-click The Ultimate Doom and then click properties. You should then be in the general tab. Click on set launch options and put
-iwad DOOM.wad -file SIGIL.wad
into the box.

Cool, well that's an alternative way using Steam settings if just using ZDoom/GZDoom for those not using any other launchers.

Extract GZDoom in Ultimate Doom\base folder, then delete dosbox.exe or rename it and rename GZDoom.exe to dosbox.exe.
SIGIL.wad must be at the same folder as DOOM.wad Then in Steam go to LIBRARY>GAMES and right-click The Ultimate Doom and then click properties. You should then be in the general tab. Click on set launch options and put
-iwad DOOM.wad -file SIGIL.wad
into the box.

Or instead of Steam launch options
1. use autoload in the GZDoom config ini
2. Use ZDoom Launcher

I play Sigil with Brutal DOOM (don't judge me) and it works perfectly.

I actually found the default soundtrack more fitting than the Buckethead... Don't get me wrong, the Buckethead is music is amazing, but it feels a bit out of place for me.. too different from the original Doom soundtrack. The free Sigil version has an awesome soundtrack as well and it fits the game a lot better imo... Not sure if it's brand new music or if existing from some level of Doom. I'm not familiar with them though. Can anyone confirm if the default soundtrack of the free sigil is new or reused?

It's BRAND NEW by the guy he headed the Plutonia MIDI Project and did music for Plutonia 2.
I believe his name is James "Jimmy" Paddock or something.

EDIT: I also prefer the MIDI soundtrack and acknowledge that Buckethead's music is awesome, but the MIDI soundtrack fits with the MIDI OST of Episodes 1 through 4.
