Communication with clan

Maybe dumb question but i just started playing yesterday and joined some open clan.

Is there any way to communicate with the other clan members ingame? Some sort of chat function / guild chat something?

It is a reasonable question.
There is message chat bar on the top left of screen.
Click on it and you will be able to select any channel/public chat, clan chat or notices.
If I am not wrong, daily reset on the clan chat and previous message will be removed.
I think that is the only way. Or players do use discord.

yea there is clan chat i've never used it or seen it used but it is there in the top left you should see a chat box/message where you see what people have achieved if you click it a menu opens with chat channels clan chat is under the channel chat

I used it once and got a reply from the clan leader but no there is no discussion of any sort and most view the clan as a place to earn extra items, loot and game currency to use in the clan shop.

I need to know who appointed me as clan leader.
Any idea, how to find it?
It's really disappointed that all chats removed from the chat screen, after the daily reset.

Aside from starting a discord channel the chat function is next to useless; especially if the members are, in my case anyway, all over the world. It is impossible to communicate with the clan. The message of the day barely allow 2 lines of text for a box that is approx. 5 inches square. The clan welcome message allows one line and there is not in game mail aside from receiving items from the game.

In our clan the original leader was level 12 I think with a total power of 40K for all of his heroes. I was level 85 with total power at 385,000 and was just a member one day then on another I was Lord aka leader and the original guy vanished.

Open the clan list and select the 1:1 option.

This will allow you to direct message your clan member.
