Multiplayer Connection Timeout
Everytime me and my friend try to play a multiplayer game, we always get connection timed out and it’s really getting annoying. We’ve both uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times as well as both attempt to host and nothing changes. If anyone knows how to fix this please let me know.

Both of you try to disable or add an exception to your firewalls it's the most common problem

Really, I need to disable my firewall just to play with my friends? That’s a little dodgy to have to do that just to play multiplayer.

Like i said you can add an exception for Castle Story. Disabling is just easier to find out if it's even the problem.
There is nothing dodgy about it just a false alarm of the firewall.

Hey Drako,

Temporarily disabling the firewall would be a quick and easy way to troubleshoot the issue. If you folks disable it and it works, then we know one of you likely accidentally clicked "cancel" or denied when the Windows prompt asking to add an exception to the firewall appeared and now, Castle Story isn't allowed through either your firewalls.

This is common for any Windows software that needs to connect to the internet.

I'm talking about the prompts that look like this (except it would say Castle Story, not Google Chrome): https://i.stack.imgur.com/rPtrd.png

If either of you declined this prompt/closed it without accepting, you'll have to manually add an exception to Castle Story in your firewall to be able to play online.
