Can we revert to earlier versions of the game?

For me the best version of the game was around 0.3.4 before they add all the workshop shenanigans, with infinite mines and bricktrons.

Yes, you actually can download previous versions of games on Steam. Steamdb keeps archives of all versions of every game if I am not mistaken. https://steamdb.info/app/227860/depots/ that is Castle Story's page.
