Brimstone...insufficient
I'm running out of brimstone more often than I run out of iron. It is used for everything. Smelting iron ore into iron ingot requires brimstone. Activating the wards require brimstones... The amount of brimstone used is disproportionate to iron use.

Please allow us a way to generate brimstone...maybe make some bricktron dance round the crysal or something? Maybe convert raw stone into brimstone? I don't know, whatever works but I need more of this glowing stuff!

Have you tried quarrying downwards and/or tunneling into mountain sides? Those orange and whitish-gray ores in the mountains and in the ground, those are Brimstones and Iron ores, respectively. You need to mine them out.

Of course...? I'm not a newbie at this game. What I said about disproprotionate use of brimstone still holds true even if I were to quarry everywhere.

To be fair, you didn't mention about that.

Let me guess, you're playing on a map that existed pre-v0.9? Those maps tend to have less resources available, due to its age. If you're playing on the newer maps, PvP oriented maps have a lot more resources available, but it really gets hard as you play along.

Hopefully, Shatojon reads this, and understand that ores in the ground aren't as plentiful to sustain throughout gameplay, but I've heard he is sick this week.

No I'm playing on Invictus. It should be a new map. I've never seen it before 0.8.x

I think that's a PvE map. I know PvE maps tend to have less resources, but I don't know which maps are PvE.

Have you try Colibri? It's a challenging map, and has a lot of resources.

You mean lots of resources as in surface deposits? Those run out. Even if the quarry yields more resources, the amount of brimstone vs iron is still disproportionate.

I get a crap ton of stone. We should be allowed to refine stone into either iron or brimstone at large ratio, say 4:1. There is plenty of stone/dirt on the map for this conversion.

We're aware that Brimstone is a bit too difficult to find right now. We're working on a solution.

I really like the conversion method, but corruptron dropping brimstone/iron is also nice.
