There will be no more major updates for castle story. They are working on a new game. The community manger said if they can find the resources, they could do small updates.

Hey Zekroxin, sorry you're not satisfied with the content in the game. At the time being, we don't have any plans to add further content to Castle Story. We've begun working on a new game named Mirador and we really need all of the team focused on it.

Yeah, I don't think they realize that if they don't finish their first game and abandon it they will lose their reputation. Not buying the 2nd game I will warn friends about Sauropod Studio's lack of loyalty for sure.

Hey Bill and Agvv, we actually made sure that 1.0 would include everything we ever confirmed Castle Story would have (on the Kickstarter and social platforms) and wouldn't have released it otherwise. The game actually shipped with a more features than originally planned and we released some updates afterwards as well. There will always be more features we could add and more issues/bugs we could fix, unfortunately, it isn't an option (financially and operationally) for us at the moment and we had to move onto the next project.

even if you did put in all the promises the game is barebones to say the least. Lots of lost potential and because you anounced that its finished some time ago the player base isnt growing hell the multiplayer random search option might as well be removed you have to actively search the discord and steam hub for people to play even thought its a multiplayer game, and judging from the kickstarter video views and likes you could've had a decent player base but from lack of marketing or the hiatuses with years with of no interaction with your playerbase its pretty dead

to my part, i quit the game because broken multiplayer. i wrote some threads but no fix for us and this game is unplayable. (desyc and laggy after 20-40 mins) I just hope you guys will get a good engine for your next game, so we can actually play it!
