Is there a way to turn off or override the automated tasks of the Bricktons? Nothing is more frustrating that having to put ALL the bricktons back on the tasks I want every 20 seconds. This is WAY worse the idle Bricktons.

Firstly, I would strongly disagree that this is worse, so I will give you the better solution. If you press ctrl click on the tasks at the bottom, then their priority will decrease. Similarly shift clicking will raise the priority. The priority levels of a task go locked, low, medium, high. Tasks start on low priority. So just make the tasks you need more important and it should achieve what you need.
If you still want to change this, then select all of your bricktrons and press h. They will immediately stop working. Also, any manually added workers will not leave a task until instructed otherwise.

Here is the problem I have, I set up bricktons to do things and I know they are safe becase they are doing those things within my perimeter. I can safely control the 2-3 that I want to use to expand my empire outside of the perimeter. But when my 15-20 safe bricktons finish a task, they might jump tasks to those outside the perimeter. I could be controling 1-2, setting up some construction, or dealing with a fight with the combatants, and all of the sudden, build suspense, I have 10 bricktons running around OUTSIDE of my perimeter. I grab them, right click them back in, read this faster so you increase ugrency, go back to the fight and by the time the UI catches up to what I am doing, the damn bricktons are running right back into the wave of bad guys!

Rinse. Repeat.

All I am asking for is an option to turn it off. Castles don't work in this game very well but Dragon's Teeth are amazing! I can't just lock my guys in a fence. I need them to work outside the safety zone as I am always increasing it. But I need complete contol of all the guys. I play long games with upwards of 30 bricktons. Every 4-5 hours it seems like I am losing 5 or so bricktons in 2-3 mins due to this functionality.

Another useful option would be a rallying point for noncombatants. If they would run to a designated spot rather than fight like idiots, I could deal with that as well.

Alright, a simple solution would be to lock the door (hold right click on the door and select the top option) Now, if that is the only way in or out of your castle, then they won’t be able to reach outside tasks and therefore will not work in them.

yep we should be able to disable auto assignement for some bricktron.
