How to adjust lights out mode?
Hey, there is the light out preset file and and normal preset file for each of the game modes. I would like to know how I can change the normal preset file to offer me a "night time" as "light out mode"

To make it a bit more clear: The lights out mode is more a "night" mode than the actual night time. Means I want the night time as dark as the lights out mode. :)

For example from 22pm - 06am = Lights out ^^ I like the glow and light effects but I don't want to play the entire time in lights out mode.

I hope you understand what I want. XD

You want the nights in a normal game to be as dark as the Lights Out mode. :spazwinky:

Yes, something like that XD It would be cool to still be able to adjust the day / night cycle. Right now I play with 0.5 day time and 1.5 night time ^^

I'd be up for something like that being added to the game, just adds a layer of difficulty :)

These 2 lines turning the lights off:

"ambientColor" : "#000000FF",
"moonlight" : "#000000FF",

If you put them into the "inversion hard" file and pause the day night cycle:

"startingTimeOfDay" : 0,
"daynightCycleSetting" : 0,
"pauseTimeOfDay" : true,

Then you have "hard" game mode with "lights out" ;-)

Changing the ambientColor and moonlight to other html color codes you can adjust the color of the night vision. I played around with it and it looks kinda funny :D
Does "lights out" mean pitch black or just that the glowing effect of any light source is off?

Yes.

If you don't want it to be very black, just change the FF value (they are alpha values) to something lower, like DD or AA.

So you mean these two lines:

"ambientColor" : "#000000FF",
"moonlight" : "#000000FF",

Sorry for my noobness,lol.

Lights out means, that thew sun and moon are basically turned off. You see a lot of darkness but the glowing crystal effects are looking really cool to me. ;-)

You've to add these 2 lines and change the startdaytime to "0" and pauseGameTime to "true"
