How do i install mods????

I wanted to install mods after playing the game a while but when i extract the files ad but them into a folder called "mod" they do not show up in the launcher please help me

For the mod to appear in the folder /mod must be two elements - a folder and a file with extension ".mod".
For example, if you wish to install mod named 1792, in the folder mod must be two elements - folder named "1792" and a file, named "1792.mod"

But when i downloaded it i came with a file called ww1.rar so i extracted it and only one file was there that i but in the mod folder. I dident see any of the files you said where am I supposed to see them in the folder or where they in the download? BTW thanks for replying so quikly! Sorry

I have the exact problem, I extracted the .rar file and i got the first element (a file containing all the details of the mod), yet I haven't found the second element ( .mod file) to complete the process...
