lol i gave up doing them drom day 1 they came out i guess im more old school and just spam events and thump every once in a while
I was under the impression that battleframes in this game are basically tools to expand the playing freedom of one character. As I asked, I thought rhetorically but evidently you don't think so, are battleframes no better than lame versions of classes in other MMORPG?
I am level 14 and have 2 perk point so far. I have a rudimentary understanding that I many perks are either unlocked by certain level with a frame (10 seems to be the most relevant to me atm) or are specific to certain frames. I don't see why I should level some frames so I an use the perks in others, but I take it you think it's a good thing?
I understand your second point. Obviously asking for money to increase grinding speed, or perhaps max level frames will be sold at some future date, is a way to generate revenue. I have no argument against that, other than since I am unwilling to pay for that, the grind still kills the game for me.
I do agree that by itself, leveling individual frames isn't an issue. I rather enjoyed the different storylines in SWTOR, though the reused planets bothered me a bit. I have also played certain single player RPG, which of course have basically the same plot, using different characters that played significantly different. Unfortunately , neither of which applies to Firefall.
I have considerable resistance against grinding events or dungeons or such things. They are more palatable if I have more freedom in playing style, such was the case in GW1 when I often changed skills for the hell of it. It's the reason why I lament grinding the different frames. If I have numerous frames to play around, I don't mind grinding as much, but I need to grind to get those frames where I can use them.
No, just different from me. There are no doubt others who think as I do, but you can comment specifically on me for simplicity.
Maybe I am the one who's weird. Maybe this grinding frame after frame is actually widely considered a plus for Firefall. I can respect that. However, I am pretty confident that the vast majority of professional reviews for Firewall will not consider it a positive quality, if not an outright negative one. But the jury is still out. If I see more praise than criticism, I will know my attitude is wrong about this part, and I will either quit or shutup.
On second thought, I kinda agree with you that cross-frame perks can be fun. Instead of rewarding them for granting frame level, how about as rewards for certain achievement? The game already tracks plenty of them. For example, maybe healing others for 100K points with Biotech grants a perk related to survival to all classes. Or absorbing 50k worth of damage with Dreadnaught's shield. 500 headshots with Recon; maybe using stealth is a better achievement. What do you think?
Wrong !
1. The Characters dont have different story lines or RPG background.
2. The basic Characters are no use in the endgame. So you have to play this game at least two times. << and knowing this sucks.
I HAVE played this game and I am CORRECT on leveling up each one.
MOST MMORPG's require you to level up each character on their games individually... It is a VERY VERY rare MMORPG that lets you have ONE level for all of your characters!
Get your facts straight!
