Not sure if I can let rip (question about ending/pollution)
At Chosen II longer difficulty atm, only using solar plants and such for fuel and avoiding blatently bad stuff (using the cameras because I didn't get a warning about buying them and lol I guess)

Is there no secret ending for not dipping into the dumb side of this? with how well water recapture scales I could see ironically building a bunch of that and other stuff so that when whatever this is finally gets rug pulled you just kick it by just flipping your rig into a water farm/solar power plant with some additional compute on offer. Not a (liquid) millionaire given all the work needed for the infrastructure, but an honest (compared to how I'm clearly supposed to play) living providing water and power with a dash of Fold@Home sounds nice.

Otherwise yeah should I do all the horrible stuff to make number go up a comically small amount or should I try to stay the course?

I think the game is pretty clear as to what it expects you to do...
Well yeah, but it'd have been funny if there was a secret yuppie ending where I just give people the huge water and electrical infrastructure of my rig to power a new government free of stupid AI bubble nonsense/develop a simple and efficient program and only use it for what it's good at while the rest of the market implodes due to not being able to cope with someone who isn't suicidal existing.

As is I'm trying to destroy the world without bullshitting folks (I like the idea of this being a 'should have read the fine print' acheivement). Selling a good algo to crash the ponzi could be the China ending (nation ruined, you gtfo), and making a sustainable rig and waiting it out to then give your rig over could be the rebel ending (perhaps a golden ending where you combine the other two to use the rig -which represents the remaining consolidated capital of the bourgoise- and the help of the international revolutionaries -China, Cuba, etc- and an honest message to help pull out of this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ regime of waste.

I dunno I guess at this point historical materialism is idealist in a way lol.
