Save file can be easily edited to cheat
they're in "\AppData\Roaming\Godot\app_userdata\Chillquarium\V7\tank_0_objects.save"

IMO devs should encrypt the file to make it harder to cheat

Devs don't care they are developping another game and they gave everyone free golden fishes. Took me 2 days to finish the achievements.

They're not free?

They might be if you're so end-game you have ridiculous amounts of money, but at someone who hasn't unlocked all the regular fish types, it's going to take me ages to get to even affording golden tickets for the last two fish types.

This idea that they're just 'giving away golden fish' is only really true if you've already been grinding and playing so much, and for so long, you have so much money it's easy to get them for all the different fish types, which means you probably should've found more anyway.

The idea that "devs don't care" when they literally made it easier for some folks because they were listening, is really strange. Just because they made a decision you personally don't like, doesn't mean they don't care. If anything, they've been communicating a lot more often recently, and staying in touch. The dev cares more than the average dev, imho. If you want a game that's harder re: getting all the achievements, may I recommend Cookie Clicker, lol.
It's a single player game. If you enjoy playing it by editing the save file so you instantly finish the game, you're not ruining the experience for anyone but yourself. Have at it. Whatever makes it worth the asking price I guess.

thanks so much for pointing it out. i did actually get a lot of fun from editing the savegames :)

it also kind of "freed" me from this game which dragged me into it like crazy. i was about 7 days in but i couldn't see an end to it. editing the savegames helped me overcome my addiction :) haha
