They're not free?
They might be if you're so end-game you have ridiculous amounts of money, but at someone who hasn't unlocked all the regular fish types, it's going to take me ages to get to even affording golden tickets for the last two fish types.
This idea that they're just 'giving away golden fish' is only really true if you've already been grinding and playing so much, and for so long, you have so much money it's easy to get them for all the different fish types, which means you probably should've found more anyway.
The idea that "devs don't care" when they literally made it easier for some folks because they were listening, is really strange. Just because they made a decision you personally don't like, doesn't mean they don't care. If anything, they've been communicating a lot more often recently, and staying in touch. The dev cares more than the average dev, imho. If you want a game that's harder re: getting all the achievements, may I recommend Cookie Clicker, lol.
it also kind of "freed" me from this game which dragged me into it like crazy. i was about 7 days in but i couldn't see an end to it. editing the savegames helped me overcome my addiction :) haha
