is there any plan for horizon gate 2?

the first game i tried with this developer was horizon gate 1 week ago and i loved it and i notice it was released years ago, is there any plan to release horizon gate 2?

We might be able to convince them. I've sent then a few e-mails in the past and they are very responsive and imo, open to advice, suggestions and feedback.

I would LOVE another Horizon's gate as it was my favorite RC game.

Consider this my vote for a HG 2.

For real. I usually pass on indy games but i was REALLY in the mood for a sailing rpg and it was on sale at the time so I thought "why not?" I really wish I could have paid full price. Rad Codex deserves them dollars for putting something like that out there.

I'd personally be down for another openworld style but dunno if it should just be a direct sequel sorta deal. I'd rather something that gets more into the gatemagic side of things and maybe a little potential for some void-ship sailing!

If you really want to buy a copy to a friend, getting another hooked is the best you can do!

Horizon's Gate is one of my favorite rpgs of all time, it's an amazing game. To make a horizon's gate 2 live up to the first one would be enormous work. We're fortunate that updates and expanded content has been *still* happening

I'm hoping so someday! If I make HG2 I want to really do a good job with it. For now I still have more HG1 patches I'd like to do! I should be able to get to some of them after the initial spate of Kingsvein patches.

patch? mean update with more content? or patch to fix bugs?

note i purchased almost all your game (only didnt buy Azalea) and the only reason is coz i loved horizon game its an amazing game, i hope in the future you will make horizon gate 2 but please make the story longer in HG 2 coz HG 1 story was super short almost no story at all no story progress no story quest no travel the world related to story just open world sand box which is still fun but wasted the game potential but still i really really love horizon gate, one of the best games i played in my life

horizon gate is the best game from the developer its amazing, enjoy the game

Honestly even if they are making a sequel or not, there are so many well made mods for this game on the Workshop that it feels like you're playing an expansion for this game anyway. Either way a sequel to this game would be pretty cool. Especially considering (WHAT COMES AFTER THIS TEXT IS SPOILERS FOR HORIZON'S GATE READ AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!!!!!!!!!) that the ending is pretty open, and it still feels like there is more stuff to be solved that you can't. The biggest being that Dominio being locked behind a wall the entire game, and never being accessible, which I find kinda odd considering you started off being betrayed by them so it would have been cool to eventually storm them and get revenge, outside of the main story.

For what it's worth, Horizon's Gate got myself and my partner into your games. I'll be watching like a hawk for any word on this, and will gladly pay full price!
