Trouble with starting the game
Is anyone else having issues with the game on its first run? I just bought and downloaded it this morning and when I start it up, it just stays in a white screen loading and nothing is happening. Any tips?

same for me
do you have a newer operating system than windows 7? if that is the case, you are of luck. this game runs in windows 7 and older only. it runs on my 2 windows 7 pcs but, not on my other pcs.

I had this issue on my n100 mini PC with W11 and integrated graphics, my main PC with W11 and an Nvidia GPU worked fine.

Tried all fixes like registry tweaks ect, nothing worked, then I downloaded the latest intel gpu drivers and their arc software. After that, magically started working.

Not sure if it's the arc software, or the new drivers which have just come out which are required (maybe having the arc overlay over it helps?). It's not 100% either, as sometimes exiting to the main menu has red and white squares, or missing assets, but it's playable now.

On Win 11 this worked like a charm.
Though after changing to the High performance mode I got a black screen on the first startup. Though starting again the game ran (almost fine) with a few graphical glitches.

From another thread:
Go to Settings - System - Display - Graphics, add the game .exe via Browse, select it - Options and then select High Performance.
Or you could do it from your gpu control panel.

I believe that this issue is related to display resolution or update frequency.
I solved it by:

1. Right-clicking the game in my library
2. Manage => Browse local files
3. Open pcrun.cfg
4. Edit borderlesswindow = true
