Gameplay tips?

Hello, I am at the rank Questor at the moment and I am really struggling to proceed. Do you have any general tips on how to play?

The same here, maxed out all stats, has more that 10000 of each type of resources, but cannot kill monster with scroll or orbs, i make too little of damage :(

oh my god, i feel so dumb. I missed "upgrade" buttons in every room!

The game is not impossible to win. Remember that. It's not even unreasonably hard. The Jose is hard, but just playing the game out, as long as you keep grinding, improving, and playing, you will eventually win.

upgrade the weapons first to max, sword and staff that is, and do as much training as possible with the XP, then upgrade shields and armor

I have done that; I have upgraded everything to max.

Potions then. Make sure your potions max out your points.

If you've got to the point where everything is maxed out and all of your rooms are upgraded and you can choose among all the potions which are unlocked, I'm not sure there's much else to tell you but to keep grinding. You should win!
