God Mode Crash on Start [SOLVED] kinda...

If you've been searching for a solution for this problem, you might already understood that there are various reasons that might be causing the exact same problem. That's why i'm going to show you the way i fixed MY problem.

1. Go to the directory of the game:
("C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\GodMode\bin")

2. Search for the file called ("game.cfg") and open it with notepad.

3.Search in the file for:

VIDEO_SizeX = xxx
VIDEO_SizeY = xxx

and change de values (xxx) to your native resolution.
Also make sure that:

VIDEO_FullScr = 0

4.Search for:

VIDEO_IgnoreVidMemCheck = 0

and turn the 0 to 1 like this:

VIDEO_IgnoreVidMemCheck = 1

Note: If this doen't wrok, try turning the ("VIDEO_IgnoreVidMemCheck = 1") to 0 again, then start the game and after crashing go back and change to 1 once again.

That's what i did to fix my problem good luck with you guys.

Wont work with a regular monitor for me. stuck loading and cant even get to the title screen

Sorry since my monitor isn't 4K there's no way i can try to solve the issue.

Cannot get game to Load, im on a 2k monitor 2560 x 1440 and on wind 10 . tried droping res changing config file like this guide said. nope nothing will work..game will not load

Sorry but i could only test this in resolutions up to 1920x1080.
You will have to test other things yourself.

Hey AtomicLoli , np thanks for responding. I even tried plugging my old 1080p monitor in and its a no go. It may be related to cloud sync possibly as last time i played was on win 7. i'll try loading it up on my old pc with win 7 and see. great game :(
