Hey, I gave 10 signs of resitance and nothing happened, is it not finished?

That sounds like a bug. You should be confronted by guards before selling all the signs.. Did you finish selling the signs through the mini map? Are you able to click new customer without triggering a cutscene. Any additional info appreciated. Feel free to email [e-mail] with a save file. Thanks for reporting.

Did you sell the signs to 10 different people? Or multiple signs to individuals?

espritcrafter makes a good point. The quest only progresses on selling the sign to someone new. Check your journal and let me know what the current action to do is.

When sold to same NPC the quest doesn't progress so yes i sold them to 10 different NPCS. However i noticed every time when i had 1 sign left i was confronted by a guard so i cheesed it by selling all of them to 9th remaining NPC and then on the next day i bought just one and gave it to a merchant on the 'merchant screen?' without button 'next customer' so i think thats how I forced this bug assuming what you said that i HAVE to be confronted by a guard.

Same just happened to me. Skipped the last guard interaction by using the map and now 0 remaining.

I just got confronted by the guards and have been exiled and lost half my stuff. Please don't tell me that's it, because I would be pretty pissed after spending all those hours hoarding

That's just part of the mission... maybe there should be some sort of max amount they'll take though. I've gotten rich enough that this mission is not very attractive to me. Definitely more of a do it as early as possible scenario.

Edit: To be clear, just hang on... this will resolve itself over time.

Lmao that's pretty funny. I did the same thing and cheesed the mission because I thought the guard catching me every single time was a bug of some sort.

is there any way to avoid getting half asset seized and banned from the place after the quest?

I have not. I'm pissed about the whole thing now. I literally spent hours on the Western side hoarding scales & hides prior to even heading to Shikyomo. Probably lost about 10 - 12 hours worth of effort.

Tempted to rage quit and uninstall this game.

i think i ve been grinding for 2 days also at west part of map and currently want to do new game due to this, lol

There is an option for you to keep your stuff, but I'm not a throw someone under the bus or backstab kinda of person.
