FAQ: How to change the Sniper Scopes?
By default, the Sniper Scopes in the game will be set to “Head Mode” which will zoom the player’s main camera when using a Sniper Scope. The scope is very accurate, clear, and performant as it does not render a second camera in the game. Although, this scope may not be liked by all.

To enable a standard scope, go to Settings> Graphics> Scope Mode and click “Gun Mode.” This will enable a second camera for the Sniper Scope. By default, it is not “Always On” and only enables the second camera when your eyes are near the scope for performance reasons.

By going to Settings> Graphics> Scope Mode and clicking “Always On,” the scope will be running as long as your weapon with the scope is unholstered. In addition, the “Gun Mode” scope has 3 resolutions “Low/Normal/High” which is 1K,2K, and 4K resolution. On higher end PC’s we have found the performance cost of each is around 1.5ms, 2ms, and 3ms respectively.

Lastly, if you like the original Head Scope mode but want to switch the default eye, you can change "Scope Eye" Setting from "Default Eye" to "Switch Eyes."

Please, make "Gun Mode" the default one. I seen many people complaining about scope in Arken Age althrough there's a setting to change it (it's just not obvious it can be changed).
Or add this setting to tutorial (initial setup). I bet you most people won't notice the perfomance drop, but all people will notice bad scope.

Also, it would be nice if not automatic heavy weapon would slow it's movement when using scope (or when using scope AND trigger is pressed (weapon will shoot when it's released))

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah we were wondering about that before release, if we default to Gun Mode than it may lag for some users, but most will be able run it. It's about 1ms of extra frame time per each resolution of the scope (1K-4K).

And for the heavy weapon do you mean to limit the recoil/ bounce on each shot if zoomed into the scope and shooting?

No, I mean slowing down gun (scope) movements (like "hold breath" button in Into The Radius, or half-pressing trigger holding revolver in Vertigo 2)
