Aimbots, Speedhacks, and Desyncers!

The devs promised that the hacks would be detected and the cheaters would be banned, but it's not happening. There is even a post on their forums describing a method to desync your character so you can make it almost impossible for other players to hit you. It has been up for days with no response from the devs.

Then there is the speedhack, the item dupe which "escaped" beta, etc...

All the info is available if you have pro google skills or know where to find. And the worst thing is, AV did not implement a "warden like" feature because of timeframe and budget, so that is why cheaters are rampant.

The people cheating who are getting banned are doing so because they were seen and reported, not because their system caught them.

Aimbots do not work in this game because you would have to stand still which would make you easy to kill. I've played this game and have only witnessed a couple speed hack years ago who were banned immediately. There is no item dupe that escaped beta.

Covert AHhps, a quick google search for "Darkfall Cheats" turns up results that state otherwise. There are definitely cheats and hacks for Darkfall Online that are currently working.

On the offocial Darkfall forums if you want them with semi-regularity or even less you will see lots of threads about cheating in Darkfall and some of those threads aren't just people upset that they died.

There are plenty of videos about hacks and cheats in Darkfall that are very recent. So, there are definitely all kinds of cheats and hacks happening currently (as of May 2013.)

A quick google search for "XXXXX cheats" if you replace XXXX with any mmo name turns up results as well.

That doesnt mean there ARE cheats, lots of spam sites create fake "omg cheats" websites for hits and email accounts.

are there cheats? probably, is it common, heeeeeeeeeeelllll no.

Item dupe was a troll (a badly done one at that)
The dungeon exploit was a troll using photoshop, even made the images rediculous on purpose... people eat up what they want to see though.

and lots of sides that sell some alpha or beta of their new iterations of the old hacks, or are currently working on making one.

just look at your prefered Hacktools monthly subfee site and you should find something there(at least some codeexamples of players or if lucky a alpha/beta, some could even have finished products listed as they had lots of time and i last looked around during beta).

makes the "to high" monthly subprice threads a bit funny, when you see how much people pay to be able to kill some pixels in a game.

to the dungeon:
it was possible during beta, till they "fixed it" with their not able to login again feature.
this feature is gone on the live version(as i was falling into the "black map" deepsea at least 2-3 times, never close to a dungeon thou, so dunno if you can still land there, and not "man" enough to bet my char on the proof of concept).

Ooli... those hacks were detected and banned part-way through DF1's life cycle. Hackers were a huge issues in the first game until a few months in when a patch ninja banned them in one go.

and some "hacks" are quite easily done, or you could do even with autoit or autohotkey, so no real hacks needed.

its not the players job to hunt for hackers, so i don't care about proof from players, i do send them a error report without text after the gamesession when i found someone fishy.
i for myself don't report hackers when i see them(i do report bugged mobs and graphic glitches).
Would be different when i get money or free playtime for each report.
But speedhack is easily recognizeable, Primalist/Elementalist who is running behind you and overtakes you while riding, ...
and the antiproof that the Elementalist/Primalist used first Dash than Stampede and than HR to keep up to you multiple times, and HR to rapidfire manamissile you down on the mount as it is with all the "proof of hackers" post in the DF Forums, and the close of that thread because people start to get personal.

one rather "proof of example" hacker: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vZfOOQtIqys got banned after one day that the vid was posted... i am sure it was the first time at the time of the video said person used it, and the one day delay was just because there were so many others to bann.

Yeah game is full of hackers. If you report someone for hacking in forums the forum mods will freeze the thread, delete it, and temp ban your forum account. It seems like the forum mods are all closely tied in with both the hackers and AV. GG.

yup no doubt hackers support the funding of this game... the grind does it.. no one will grind legitimately... one its crazy insane time, where you could be having fun.. those like me who would of played legit... notice all the botters and quickly go.. why am i wasting my life, when all these others are clearly breaking the rules.... "UNSUBSCRIBE".. let the cheaters hack each other do death with this one... :D
