you are currently prevented from playing online multiplayer games
me and my gf play this game with one person on xbox game pass and another person on steam. abput an hour or two ago we had an issue where the game pass player was booted out of the steam player's game and was displayed a message 'you are currently prevented from playing online multiplayer games'. this time it does not seem to be related to a version mismatch as were both on 1.0.9.

Known bug. Happens when playing offline too.
I saw a couple playing it together on stream and one of them disconnected halfway through. It was such a bummer that one of them didn't get and progress that they stopped playing :(
