Compilation of how to barricade every map
Hey there, I think it would be useful that we made a compilation of the different ways to block each map.

Many of us think there is "only one" efficient way to barricade many maps, while others argue this and maybe can come up with very good ideas we didnt figure.So this could expand our gameplay option.
On the other side, it can serve as a guide for anybody struggling to beat a level.

There are several good solutions per map with 22, but in every map you can create even greater layouts if you happen to have those 1 or 2 extra barricades or an actual maze if you got the double-length thread
yep for sure! Also I noticed some maps have other rooms where the rift may appear, so the layout should change. But so far im getting the maps (dry docks etc) always with same rift location

Oh man, that fish market setup is real good. I've been avoiding it before I get 26 barriers because it's perpetually a real rough map for me personally. Once you get that amount of barriers, you can truly make that map completely solved lol.

and ahhhh that order arboretum layout is so good, I don't account for skeletons/water elementals with my setup. I've been trying some more floor-centric trap builds recently so I'd be able to make that work for sure.

Yep with only 21 barricades needed. This routes all 4 doors to one path and makes this pretty much solved outside of flyers/hunters messing up your flow. You funnel them all into your main killbox at the highest section of the stairs. Be sure to not use steam vents in this current build up there though, because there's a bug with it that causes enemies to clip through the ground. Good in any other map, but real bad here because underneath that is your rift.

Here's what it looks like ingame, since the multiple elevations can make it look trickier than it actually is. It's important to block it like this so that the middle section underneath the bridge is kept clear so you can more easily counter flyers/hunters.

Alternatively, for 19 barricades you can funnel the two front entrances up the opposite side of the stairs so that they end up going outside alongside the same route the two side doors take and through the giant archway at the bottom side of the map. Great for setups that are more floor/wall focused.

It forces all the orcs through the bridge that crosses the interior of the observatory, above the rift itself. I use this as the killbox:

Works well enough.

If you have barricades left over, or get enough money to use Rift Barricades, you can force any survivors of this box through the lower "library" section where you have a stretch of ceiling as well.
