I had a mission earlier where we found the chest, I elected to give up my 5000RC to open it for a potential large boost to everyone's coins...
... and got 6 skulls instead. Welp.
Use the bear or Max, because many of them are annoying to get to otherwise, though you can get them all (most?) with any character.
I can't tell exactly though, you should look it up if you want to know - I forgot already and I'm not firm on the map names yet.
There's a good trick as well if you're doing it with a buddy: for some reason, if Kalos and Sophie both jump and melee at the same time, standing close and aiming at each other, they start moving up over two dozen feet high. Good way to get these in pairs. Max can participate too if he uses his bladestaff, but that is a horrible waste of an ultimate.
Max's statue is specifically placed so you're supposed to need his double jump to get there, but my friend and I grabbed it using the cat and the bear.

This video shows where all the statues are to unlock each character's morning glory outfit
